Clothesline Bowls

A couple weeks, ago, I fell in love with a bowl that a friend of mine made from clothesline and fabric scraps. I had one of those "moments", which seem to happen to me all the time, where I immediately had to make one.

The instructions are found in the book It's a Wrap by Susan Breier. While making a bowl is not very difficult, making a good bowl is not- at least for me it's not. This is my second bowl, and honestly, my results weren't much better than my first attempt.

I did really enjoy making the bowl, even if it's a little lopsided and my stitching is super messy. I'm not sure I'll be making any more. I think I will stick to quilts.

    1. I made a single fold bias binding and I hand stitched it on. It didn't take too long.
