On a different note, some of you know I was born and raised in Kansas. I lived there for 26 years before my family moved to the St. Louis area 6 yeas ago. (I'll save you from doing the math... I'm 32.) In all my 26 years living in "Tornado Alley", I have never even come close to being caught in a tornado.
Well, on Friday, my family and I had a little run-in with a tornado. Actually, our home had a run-in with a tornado. My family is totally fine. While we currently can't live in our home, it is still standing. My stash "walked" away without a scratch. I have lugged my sewing machine from hotel to hotel. I think it must be my comfort item... like a teddy bear, but not as soft, and my hubby won't let me sleep with it.
I had planned on releasing another quilt pattern this week, but my plans changed a little. I do plan on getting that pattern out once we can get our computers set back up in a more permanent place. I'll still be sewing, but I'm not how much I'll be able to do, so bear with me, as my blog posts may be less regular for a while. I'll do my best do photograph my progress and keep you all updated on my many, many projects that I just happen to be in the middle of.
If you still want to keep up with me through the next few months, I tend to post everything on Instagram... probably too much! If you don't mind weeding through a few pics that are not quilting/sewing related, feel free to keep up with me there!
