Paper Pieced Meet 'n Greet at 13 Spools

I'm just popping in to let you know that my interview is up for the Paper Pieced Meet 'n Greet over at 13 Spools.

If you haven't checked out the Meet n' Greet yet, I encourage you to do so. Amy chose quilters from all skill levels to interview about paper piecing and quilting in general. If you've been around my blog much, you probably know paper piecing is not one of the piecing techniques I use. I've only tried it once. You'll have to read the interview if you want to know more about my experience!

13 Spools is also hosting the Prism Along. There's still time to join in and there are some fabulous prizes, including a copy of my Starburst Pattern!

Thanks, Amy for hosting!

Several of you have posted such nice comments about damage our house received from the "little wind storm" my family has gone through this month. Needless to say, I have not had much any time for quilting, blog reading, or updating. I do truly appreciate your comments and well wishes. I hope to be back to sewing soon as we should be moving out of the hotel and into a temporary apartment in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, it will be months before we can go home and I can have my sewing studio back. The hubs and I spent some time this afternoon finishing up writing my next pattern. Thankfully, I have several quilts made and patterns partially written. That should keep me plenty busy while I'm out of my studio!

  1. Really happy to hear that your family is safe! I hope that the damage is repaired quickly and your life gets back to the usual soon.

  2. I can't wait to see what else you come up with! I hope it ends up being a few months rather than very many. Glad to hear you were able to turn your eye to pattern writing, I hope you found some joy in the creativity during this difficult time!!
