Star Crossed Blog Hop and Giveaway

Wow! I can't believe it has been six months since my last post! Six months! While I haven't been blogging my projects, I have definitely been spending time with my sewing machine!

One of the projects I am lucky enough to be working on is a new pattern by Four Robbins Designs called Star Crossed. This is a combination of traditional quilt blocks and I'm completely in love with it! It is so versatile.

I chose primary colors from my stash and made the baby-size quilt. It measures 36"x36" and is my favorite size for baby quilts. I am working on a little hand quilting detail (at which I'm totally a novice), and then I'll finish it up with my machine. I can't wait to get this one done and show it off!

Now for the good part! Krista is hosting a blog hop this week and that means that I get to give away a copy of her new pattern! All you need to do for a chance to win is leave me a comment telling me about which color palette you're totally loving for this spring. It's totally pinks and navy blue for me! I will pick a random winner on Friday!

  5. I'm very fickle. I find one I love and then see the next new one and I love it! So whatever the last new line out is my favorite! .....for right now!

  15. Thanks for the chance to win the pattern. I really like your baby quilt. Those aren't colors I would have chosen but, seeing yours, I like them. I'm a scrappy quilter - almost everything is scraps and not a lot of pre-planning on color. I seem to be drawn to the same colors all the time - reds, blues, greens against black or else Civil War prints. I guess when I like something, I like it!

  17. Krista's pattern is a winner. I am partial to green and navy (although my stash doesn't necessarily reflect it!). I may need to do something about that.
